IGC Advanced

CAN BUS – Communication

Fast data communication completely integrated with the equipment mounted on the vehicle eliminates the risk of human error.

The Controller Area Network (CAN) is a serial databus standard for connecting electronic vehicle-mounted control units.
A CAN bus facilitates real-time communication: each “participant” in the network is assigned a set priority. Messages to and from the participant with the highest priority take precedence.

Intelligent data communication makes it possible to initiate actions and responses without human intervention. The IGC Advanced is fitted with CANBUS communication and can “talks” to the vehicle.

Incorrect earthing is now a red light and a relay that indicates contact. IGC Advanced can send messages and, in this way, “tell” the vehicle what the earthing status is and issue commands to initiate a specific action. The system is fast and reliable.
